PAN CARD is a short name of, "PERMANENT ACCOUNT NUMBER".

which is issued by the Income Tax Department of Government of India.

For Getting a PAN CARD, we have to apply the authority in Prescribed Form.

The Form Number, for Application for Allotment of new PAN Card, is 49A.

After issuing the Card, there is also a provision to change the Data of PAN Card, like..

> Name of PAN Card Holder
> Date of birth
> Father's Name
> Ward / Circle etc.
